5 benefits of partnering with a specialist

You are at the top of your game, but you don’t feel like you are being challenged enough in your job. You are thinking about what other opportunities there might be out there. You’ve never used a recruiter before and you might have heard a few horror stories.

Why should you get to know and partner with a specialist recruiter?

  1. Specialist recruiters know the market

We spend loads of time speaking to companies & other candidates and get to know who the best companies are to work for. This means that you can avoid making a career choice that you might regret in the future. We know your market worth, how much you could be paid in another company and what benefits you’ll have. We know which companies are expanding and which companies might not be doing so well.

  1. We don’t just send your CV on and hope for the best.

We speak to our client, explain why you are relevant and how you come across to us. We give them the reasons why they should be considering you for an interview, increasing your odds.

  1. We know about jobs that aren’t advertised on the open market.

We keep in touch with our clients, know their growth plans and they ask us to keep an eye out for a particular type of profile. You’ll be one of the first to hear about suitable jobs, odds are that we’ll speak to you before we advertise it.

  1. We make sure that you are properly prepared for your interview.

Companies love it when the candidates they interview are prepared.

A big part of our job is to get to know the companies that we represent. We find out things beyond what’s in the news or on the “About us” section of their websites. We do this by going out to meet them and basically interviewing them. I personally ask a load of questions and take lots of notes. I like to find out their story. How they started, where they are at now and where they want to be in the future. I also dig down into what makes them different from their competitors. I’ll then use this knowledge to make sure that you are fully prepared for the interview.

  1. We’ll do our best to negotiate the offer that you are looking for.

Now, when I say this, I don’t mean just money. We’ll know if you are looking for 1 day from home per week, flexibility around an early start and early finish and additional benefits. We’ll also do our best to get you the money that you deserve and advise the client accordingly.
